Purchase of a continuous roasting system to be able to prepare a new range of Nuts and Dried Fruit with coating or different flavours without damaging the product.
Launch and start of manufacture of the Seeds with the revolutionary flavour of the Argentinean sauce “Chimichurri”.
2004
The new seed weighing and packing equipment for the Impulse Channel are complemented with the robotisation of the boxing and palleting processes, and final route to the finished product loading bay, created in the buildings by Facundo technicians.
Start of an internationalisation process of the Facundo market through the PyPe programme of the Chambers of Commerce with the aim of entering the complicated and enormous world of foreign markets, achieving incipient successes that predict possible medium-term growths.
2005
Start of a daring Advertising campaign on the national front to increase the Facundo trademark awareness in Football Radio and Music Radio supports, achieving considerable success.
2006
Continuation of the advertising campaign on the same supports to ratify the awareness of the trademark and also inform about the values of Facundo Seeds.
Launch of the “mini” ranges, horizontal bags of nuts and dried fruit packed in dispensing display boxes.
Presentation in attractive and practical twin boxes of the main food products to make them easier to manage at the Point of Sales.
On 21 August a tragic train accident occurred at the Villada station, opposite the Facundo factory. The Company personnel did everything within their power to help the passengers. The social recognition of solidarity, which extended to the entire national territory, was truly comforting and the best reward to the sacrifice, pain and dedication of the Facundo personnel. This event will remain etched in Facundos’ history forever.
9 September: death of Lola de la Fuente, Co-founder of the Facundo Group and soul of the company.
A sad but also grandiose day for everyone on verifying the fond recognition of the company to her work. One of the first genuine businesswomen in Spain, Medal to Work Merit, a very humane person.
The Town Council of Villada declared three days of official mourning and agreed to name a street in her memory.
The Town Council of Palencia also agreed to name a new street after her in the capital. |
