Restructuring of the delivery system, of own fleet of lorries.

The old lorries are replaced with new and modern road trains with interchangeable isothermal vans, to be able to reach each customer-wholesaler quickly, in spite of the fact that many of them are still located in the centre of the towns.

1981

Extension of the Villada factory by 5,000 m2 incorporating new facilities to produce pellets, directly and indirectly expanded collet, extension and improvement of its loading bays, storage space and garages.

1985

Modernisation and machining of the salting system so the salted seeds are safely discharged by means of a transport system that does not damage or break the product during its transit to the roasting process.

Incorporation of a new conservation system into the entire range of nuts and dried fruit.  This process carries out a sweep of the oxygen in the bags, replacing it with inert gas to prevent oxidation of the products with time, using new materials to achieve the required efficacy, with a greater barrier to keep products fresh for longer.

1989

Death of the Chairman and Co-founder, Facundo Blanco Calleja, on 2 August, in an environment of recognition and social tribute. A street in Villada is dedicated to him.
